YOGA CLASSES

Do you want to delve deeper into your spiritual journey and experience more peace and harmony within your body and in your life?

My Yoga sessions are designed keeping in mind your individual level and goal of practice. My classes are designed on the principles of Ashtanga yoga primary series and Hatha Yoga.

Yoga is for everybody. Irrespective of your flexibility, age or fitness level.

ASHTANGA YOGA

practice is the perfect balance of strength and flexibility. The primary series of Ashtanga yoga is called Yoga Chikitsa, which means yoga therapy. It is intended to realign the spine, detoxify the body, and build strength, flexibility, and stamina. The complete primary series consists of around 75 poses beginning with sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses, backbends and inversions followed by relaxation. Although Ashtanga Yoga is more athletic in style, the method of teaching makes it perfect for beginners as well. It is ideal for you if you like structure and order.

HATHA YOGA

is a gentler form of practice where Asanas or postures are held for longer, typically 1-2 minutes.. It is not usually a flow class although it can be depending on the student’s level. Unlike, Ashtanga Yoga, every session is different and can be easily modified to the students needs and preference. My Hatha yoga classes are generally slower paced with some basic Pranayama ( breathing ) techniques and a short seated meditation at the end. Hatha Yoga is perfect for beginners as most poses can be modified to make them accessible to all levels.

*5 session package is valid for 3 weeks and 10 session package is valid for 6 weeks.
